Position Summary: The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of all kitchenware and equipment, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly. This role includes washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen items, maintaining a clean workspace, and supporting the kitchen staff by ensuring that all necessary equipment is readily available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Dishwashing and Cleaning:
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment using the appropriate dishwashing methods and machinery.
  • Inspect and sort dishes before washing to ensure proper cleaning and handling of delicate items.
  • Dry and store cleaned items in their designated locations in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area, ensuring that equipment is free of grease, food particles, and residue.
  • Ensure the dishwashing area remains sanitized and hygienic throughout the shift.
  • Kitchen Cleanliness and Maintenance:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors.
  • Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly, keeping the kitchen area clean and free from clutter.
  • Regularly clean dishwashing machines and other kitchen appliances to ensure they remain in good working condition.
  • Assist with the removal and cleaning of any large pots, pans, or utensils used by the kitchen staff.
  • Inventory and Stock Management:
