We're currently hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient team at Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick, MD.

What You Can Expect
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Weekends: Minimum requirement of 1 weekend per month
  • Holidays: One major and one minor holiday per year

About the Role

You'll be part of a large, experienced team treating a wide range of patients, including those with orthopedic, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care needs. Whether you're a seasoned COTA or a recent graduate with strong acute care clinicals, this is a great opportunity to build your skills in a respected hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Maryland state licensure (or eligibility)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • 1+ year of acute care or skilled nursing experience preferred (New grads with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply)

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT
  • Accurately document patient care using a web-based EMR system
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress
  • Meet all clinical, departmental, and regulatory standards
