Job description

Your Impact:

The Telecommunications Lead Installer - Level IV at Pearce is responsible for overseeing the installation, re-configuration, removal, and maintenance of Central Office and Data Center equipment. This position requires supervision of team members to ensure successful project completion while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of installers, ensuring adherence to Telco Standard TP76300.
  • Perform comprehensive equipment installations, including AC/DC Power systems and fiber systems.
  • Manage and successfully complete installation projects, resolving issues as they arise.
  • Interface with customers, vendors, and company employees to ensure effective equipment testing and integration.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
  • Develop and review Method of Procedures, work schedules, and project completion reports.
  • Install and configure telecommunication equipment and infrastructure, including data servers and network devices.
  • Conduct testing and documentation of performance characteristics of hardware and software.
  • Travel as required to perform installations, with potential international assignments.

Core Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of installation experience or equivalent training/experience.
  • High school diploma with two years of technical school or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and laptop computer applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment background checks. Valid passport is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, and perform tasks that require standing, walking, climbing, and crawling in tight spaces.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including potential international travel.
