Senior Superintendent – Ground-Up, Upfit, and Remodel Retail Projects

Location: Work primarily based in Florida. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Florida.

Experience Required: Ground-Up Walmart construction experience is a must.

Your Role

Due to multiple ongoing projects, including remodels, expansions, and ground-up retail builds, Senior Superintendents are needed to manage all site construction activities. This includes overseeing field and subcontractor personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and with top-tier quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage job site activities, personnel, and subcontractors
  • Coordinate trades and maintain safety compliance
  • Ensure quality control throughout project phases
  • Maintain a well-organized job site office and successfully close out projects

Work Conditions:

  • Must be willing to travel within Florida and work some nights as required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years supervising and coordinating subcontractor trades
  • Experience in scheduling, field supervision, quality control, safety, and construction production
  • Proven expertise in ground-up Walmart projects (experience with other big-box stores is a plus)
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Training (preferred or must obtain upon hire)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Additional certifications (SWPPP) and familiarity with Wrike or Fieldwire are preferred
