Job description

GIS AnalystLocation: Panama City, FL 32401

The GIS Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geographic data using GIS software and tools. They will work closely with other departments to provide spatial analysis and mapping services to support business decisions and operations. The GIS Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining and updating GIS databases, creating maps and visualizations, and providing technical support to users.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret geographic data using GIS software and tools
  • Create maps and visualizations to support business decisions and operations
  • Maintain and update GIS databases
  • Provide technical support to users
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide spatial analysis and mapping services
  • Develop and implement GIS projects and initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with GIS technology and trends
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in GIS analysis and mapping
  • Proficiency in GIS software and tools, such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and MapInfo
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
