Employment Coordinator & Recruiter - Tennessee


Charles Lea Center is looking to hire a full time Employment Coordinator & Recruiter primarily working in middle Tennessee.


Competitive Pay of $22.12/hr.

As an Employment Coordinator & Recruiter, you will develop career advancement opportunities for individuals supported through the Charles Lea Center and the Tennessee Department of Disability and Aging (DDA). This role is responsible for identifying and securing employment opportunities by matching individuals' skills, abilities, and interests with appropriate job placements. You will manage referrals, conduct outreach activities, and support employment skill development with the goal of helping individuals achieve competitive, integrated employment.


In addition, you will support the Charles Lea Center's recruitment and outreach efforts by attending job fairs, coordinating recruiting events and activities, and implementing innovative recruitment strategies to attract applicants and referral sources. The Employment Coordinator & Recruiter will also communicate with the marketing team to create advertising initiatives to promote employment opportunities.


This position also plays a key role in developing sustainable marketing strategies that increase community awareness, referrals, and participation in the Center's programs and services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate verbally in English
  • Ability to pass a background check upon hire
  • Valid driver's license
  • Vehicle Insurance of a specific coverage amount


PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This role involves regular standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and hands-on support. Reasonable accommodations are available.


REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field;

or

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a non-related field and one year of *relevant experience;

or

Associate degree and 2 years of *relevant experience;

or

High School Diploma or General Equivalent with 4 years of *relevant experience

*Relevant experience means experience working directly with persons with intellectual, developmental, or other types of disabilities or mental illness.
