Job Summary:

Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: CCO) is one of the world's largest outdoor advertising companies, with more than 675,000 displays in over 40 countries across five continents, including 47 of the 50 largest markets in the United States. Clear Channel Outdoor offers many types of displays across its global platform to meet the advertising needs of its customers. This includes a growing digital platform that now offers over 1,000 digital billboards across 39 U.S. markets.
The CCOA Photographer will support the Marketing Team in a role dedicated to capture and deliver high quality photography of outdoor media throughout the market. This includes capturing photos & video of outdoor media products within five days of posting and generating photography content that will support a variety of visual platforms including, but not limited to, media kits, presentations, social media and video.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Capture photos & video by working independently and in teams (as needed) in the field
  • Coordinate with Marketing Team to discuss and clarify photography assignments
  • With support of the Marketing Team, determine appropriate routes and positioning to capture photos & video
  • Maintain accurate log of outdoor media locations photographed for reporting purposes
  • Review, filter, and edit photos & video
  • Make photos available to Marketing Team within agreed upon time frame
  • Drive throughout the New York DMA (the five boroughs, Long Island, Lower Hudson Valley, New Jersey & Connecticut) to shoot inventory
  • Walk or use commuter rails to various locations in Times Square and various Manhattan locations to shoot media
  • Other duties as assigned or requested

Job Qualifications

Skills:

  • Proficiency in photography equipment, tripod, and lighting usage, etc.; experience with high end photography equipment
  • Comfortable with heavy daily driving of surface streets, highways, bridges, tunnels and freeways throughout the NY DMA
  • Ability to identify and interpret photography needs and develop a plan to meet them
  • Comfortable with photo assignments changing on a daily basis
  • Strong organizational / time management skills, detail-oriented
  • Able to compose emails and other written documentation clearly and concisely
  • Able to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions;
  • Able to interpret a variety of situations and instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form
  • Able to deal with and solve problems quickly, multi-task and prioritize work
  • Team oriented, self-starter who is highly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop)
  • Proficiency with GoPro Hero, or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be available to work occasional weekends or nights when necessary (advanced notice will be given)

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required or Military experience.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred

Work Experience

  • 2+ years of photography experience in advertising, marketing or related field
  • Digital portfolio or sample work that reflects photos of outdoor environments

The Targeted Salary Range for this New York position is:

Min: $25.00

Max: $27.00
Hourly roles are overtime eligible; Operations roles are Productivity Pay eligible.
