About the Role:
MillerFoto is currently seeking highly motivated, responsible, and talented individuals to join our krewe as School, Sports, Graduation & Special Events Photographers. Our photographers create portraits that will be treasured for a lifetime. If you are seeking an opportunity that offers you the photographic training and expertise you need to succeed, MillerFoto is the place for you! We are a Local, Family Owned Photography company.  Based in Metairie, LA, we are looking for a creative professional to join our photography team and elevate our clients' experiences.

About Us:
We photograph Schools, Sports, Seniors, Graduations & Special Events, just to name a few. This is a high energy, quick pace, volume photography service that requires motivated outgoing individuals with a great attitude. Friendly, customer service skills are always a plus.

What We Need From You

You must be comfortable working with large groups of children, coaches, educators and parents. There are some physical requirements as you will be required to help set up equipment such as lights and backdrops as well as tents and tables for outside jobs. 

Responsibilities:
Photographers are required to capture high quality photographs that are ready to sell
Our photographers are required to photograph correctly without the need to Edit after the job
Work closely with staff to establish set-up area, flow, and effectively resolve any issues
Maintain equipment in a safe manner according to company guidelines
Accurately complete and return all required materials within assigned timelines
Follow all company polices and represent MillerFoto in a professional manner
Use safe work habits, including proper lifting and safe driving
Maintain confidentiality of client information

Requirements:
Shifts available early morning, late afternoon and weekends
Proven experience as a professional photographer
SMILING, high-energy, outgoing candidate who loves people and events
High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service experience a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision with a team
Willing to work a varied seasonal schedule
Accessibility to reliable insured transportation
Vehicle insurance must be current and in compliance with state law
Must have valid driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for short periods
Must be able to pass a background check
