Baylor Program - Weekend Warrior RN
Program Overview
The Baylor Program is designed to provide consistent, high-quality weekend coverage by offering Registered Nurses (RNs) the opportunity to work extended weekend shifts while receiving enhanced compensation and/or benefits.
Position Title
Weekend Warrior Registered Nurse (RN) - Baylor Program
Schedule Requirements
• Required to work every weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
• Standard Baylor schedule options:
o Option 1: Two 16-hour shifts (32 hours total)
o Option 2: Three 12-hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday = 36 hours)
• Must work all scheduled weekend shifts to qualify for Baylor incentives
• Limited flexibility for weekends off (e.g., 1 per quarter) with prior approval
Compensation Structure
• Paid for full-time equivalent hours (36-40 hours) while working fewer actual hours (based on schedule structure)
• Includes:
o Base hourly rate
o Baylor premium differential (higher rate for weekend commitment)
Benefits Eligibility
• Eligible for full-time benefits if working Baylor-qualified schedule:
