Weekend Warrior Program | 12-Hour Shifts
Vent Unit | Skilled Nursing | Fountain View – Cincinnati, OH (Silverton Area)

Fountain View is seeking a dedicated and experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our Weekend Warrior Day Shift Team in our specialized ventilator and skilled nursing unit. This position is designed for respiratory professionals looking to maximize their earnings while providing high-quality care on weekends in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Position Overview

As a Weekend Warrior Respiratory Therapist, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to residents requiring ventilator and complex pulmonary support during 12-hour daytime shifts. You will work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident outcomes and quality care throughout the weekend.

Schedule:

  • Weekend Warrior Program

  • 12-Hour Day Shifts

  • Additional shift opportunities may be available

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor ventilators and respiratory equipment

  • Assess residents' respiratory status and respond to changes in condition

  • Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered

  • Perform trach care, suctioning, and airway management

  • Ensure ventilator alarms, settings, and equipment function properly

  • Accurately document assessments, treatments, and interventions

  • Collaborate closely with nursing and clinical leadership

  • Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

  • Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide clinical support as needed

Qualifications
  • Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT)
