Job Description

The Hyperion Planning Senior Managing Consultant position requires an experienced finance professional who possesses functional, business process and Hyperion Planning technical design and configuration skills within the performance reporting and planning areas.
The Senior Managing Consultant will be required to lead projects with overall responsibilities including: definition of requirements including current state analysis, architect a solution with the Hyperion Planning software implementation of redesigned reporting and planning processes, change management and training of client staff for a successful deployment of the new process and system. The successful candidate will perform activities including: leading executive workshops to identify key business metrics,
definition of planning and reporting requirements, design and development of planning models, application of better practices within planning, forecasting and reporting processes and implementing new performance reporting, planning and forecasting processes within the Oracle/Hyperion Planning toolset. The candidate will serve on client engagements acting within a Hyperion Planning Solution Architect role, and will be responsible for project delivery using formal implementation methodologies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2 years experience in designing and implementing Performance Reporting and Planning solutions for large multinational companies
  • At least 2 years experience in advanced technical expertise with the Planning, Essbase, FDM, and RDM.
  • At least 2 years experience in at least two full lifecycle implementations of new planning processes using a formal implementation methodology and Hyperion Planning (experience with Planning System 9 preferred)
  • At least 2 years experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues, interfacing with business users, preparing for and leading executive workshops
  • Basic knowledge in Prior experience in a large consulting organization preferred.
  • At least 2 years experience in traditional process improvement techniques such as business process reengineering and six sigma applied within a Hyperion Planning implementation is a plus
  • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
  • English: Basic knowledge


Preferred

  • At least 4 years experience in designing and implementing Performance Reporting and Planning solutions for large multinational companies
  • At least 4 years experience in advanced technical expertise with the Planning, Essbase, FDM, and RDM.
