Skillsets:
• 8 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Analyst
• Proficient on SQL queries development
• Knowledge on Data warehouses techniques with emphasis on Oracle Data warehouse
• Domain/subject matter expertise on Oilfield business
• Knowledge on Microsoft products like SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server
• Knowledge on VSTS
• Desirable knowledge on OBIEE and PowerBI. The candidate will not be developing dashboards himself but must support the developers and for doing so, knowledge on these tools is desirable
Project Role:
BI consultant reports to the DR Application Manager.
BI consultant tasks will include the following but not be restricted to:
• Gather requirements from stakeholders belonging to different business domains on the company. The candidate must be capable to understand, extract, challenge requirements coming from different business domains users (finance, HR, assets management, operations)
• Ability to mine, analyze and understand the data available on different Schlumberger source systems and design the best technical solution proposing how to extract and transform these datasets into the data cubes that will be used on the end users reports
• Develop the procedures responsible for extracting and transforming the data into the final designed data cube
• Develop processes and tools to monitor the performance of the transformation process and the accuracy of the data
• Document the database models, ETL data flow from source to final data cubes and all the business rules implemented
• 8 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Analyst
• Proficient on SQL queries development
• Knowledge on Data warehouses techniques with emphasis on Oracle Data warehouse
• Domain/subject matter expertise on Oilfield business
