Next Generation, Inc, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Technical Architect with expertise in reporting and integrations to join our dynamic team for a hybrid role in Alexandria, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle technologies, particularly Oracle Fusion applications, and a proven track record of designing and implementing robust reporting solutions and integrations. This role offers the opportunity to lead architectural design efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive the implementation of innovative solutions to meet business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of Oracle reporting solutions, including Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and other reporting tools to meet business requirements
  • Architect and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion applications and other enterprise systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud Service (ICS) and other integration technologies
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define reporting and integration needs, and develop architectural solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Design and optimize data models and schemas for reporting and analytics, ensuring scalability, performance and data integrity.
  • Define and enforce reporting and integration standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, project managers, and system administrators, to deliver integrated and cohesive solutions that meet business needs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle Technical Architect, with a focus on reporting and integrations
  • Extensive experience with Oracle reporting tools, including Oracle BI Publishers, Oracle Reports, ad Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
  • Strong proficiency in Oracle integration technologies, such as Oracle Integration cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite, and Oracle Integration Cloud Service (ICS)
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Applications, including data structures, modules, and business processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and design efficient integration solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Oracle certifications, (eg Oracle Certified Expert, Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Integration Cloud Service) are a plus
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud applications and technologies is preferred.
