Sr. Oracle Applications DBA


On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for an Sr. Oracle Applications DBA for a contract opportunity in New York, NY.


Sr. Oracle Applications DBA Job Details


Develop, design, construct, implement, and maintain database applications supporting regulatory initiatives (Dodd Frank, Basel III), financial professionals and risk management functions. Collaborate across stakeholders (product managers, project managers, business analysts, and testers) to elicit and analyze requirements Support testing and integration Support maintenance needs. Design and build database solutions to satisfy application (business and technical) requirements. Perform data analysis where requirements may need to be derived from available documentation, interviews with users, and file specifications/samples. Develop Physical Database Design Perform Database administration at the application level Provide Database performance tuning and Application performance tuning Provide SQL Development, tuning, troubleshooting.


Sr. Oracle Applications DBA Mandatory Skills


-Need Oracle DBA with Application support experience which is necessary.

-Preferred Previous Work Experience: 7+ years as a hands-on Oracle technologist with a good mix of database design, application development and database development including:


Oracle Enterprise Manger 11g or 12c administration and Oracle Apex administration working with the following technology:


TOAD, PL/SQL, TSQL, Shell Scripting/ Perl /Awk, Apache, UNIX/ Linux, Replication and Production Maintenance. 


-Preferred Education/Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Bachelor's degree in a related field of study Other Skills, Abilities and/or Training: Oracle and/or SQL Server Database certifications.
