Job description

ChristianaCare is currently seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist to work with a dynamic team. This is a weekend Per Diem position and will be at least two weekend days per month with the opportunity to pick up weekday shifts.

The selected candidate will work caring for patients in the acute Rehab Unit located at Wilmington Hospital. In this setting, patients are seen primarily in our well-equipped, state of the art therapy gym, and our Transitional Living Apartment with access to a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room/bedroom set up.

This exciting position allows the selected candidate to see a large variety of patient populations including Neuro, Trauma, Cardiac, and General Debility while working with a supportive team of OTs. The OT experience at ChristianaCare offers a strong team approach and frequent interdisciplinary interaction.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS, MS or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • At least one year of clinical experience preferred
  • Licensure or license eligibility in the State of Delaware as an Occupational Therapist
  • CPR Certification
  • AOTA preferred
  • New graduates will be considered and are encouraged to apply
This is a flat rate position, any individual hired into this position will be paid $59.00/hour plus any applicable differentials.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
