Job Description Open Position: General Cardiologist Specialty: Cardiology Position Overview Due to significant practice growth and an exciting office expansion, our established private cardiology practice is seeking a talented General Cardiologist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading cardiovascular group with over 25 years of experience, serving a vibrant community. Practice Highlights: Role: Focus on general noninvasive cardiology with opportunities to subspecialize based on interest.

Team: Join 15 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers in a collaborative, supportive environment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-3:30 PM dedicated to patient care, with ~1.5 hours daily protected administrative time for notes and coordination. Flexible options for additional hours to maximize earning potential

Call: Q7 call schedule with no overnight requirements. Weekend hospital coverage (8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Saturday/Sunday) approximately once every two months. Clinic: State-of-the-art facility with NextGen EMR and comprehensive ancillary services, including ECG, echo, stress testing, nuclear stress testing, holter monitoring, vascular studies, in-house Pacer/ICD clinic, imaging, and PET/CT.

Plans for future expansion to include an ASC/OBL. Hospital Affiliation: Work with a nearby top-tier medical center (3 minutes from the clinic). Financial Package Base Salary: $400,000 (Fellow or Practicing Physician).

Productivity Bonus: wRVU bonus over 9,750 Track to Partnership: After 3 years, eligible for partnership with profit-sharing, vesting in practice investment units, and option to purchase additional shares. Signing Bonus: $50,000 Additional Incentives: Negotiable educational stipend and student loan assistance. Malpractice: Claims-made policy provided.

CME: $3,000 annually, 5 days, plus employer-paid licenses, DEA, and professional society memberships. Benefits PTO: 20 days (includes 5 days for CME). Medical Plans: Choice of 3 Cigna medical plans, plus Cigna dental and Eyemed vision.

Additional Coverage: Employer-provided life insurance, voluntary life, AD&D, critical illness, STD, LTD, HSA, FSA, and DCA. Retirement: 401(k) with 4% employer match ($18,000-$21,000/year). Starting 2026, safe harbor match of 4% gross salary.

Candidate Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology. Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
