MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Help Desk Specialist to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The Help Desk Specialist will support hybrid cloud infrastructure operations, incident response and customer service. You will help troubleshoot complex issues across Linux and Windows environments, collaborate with engineering teams, and ensure enterprise and government customers experience seamless cloud integration and support. 

Responsibilities Included but are not limited to:

  • Administer/maintain product security, integration and optimization within AWS platform. 
  • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems. 
  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc. 
  • Knowledge of Commercial Cloud

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university with 5 years of experience.  5 years of additional Help Desk experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Diagnosing, resolving, and tracking complex support cases through ServiceNow, phone, and email channels
  • Security + Certification
  • Experience providing Tier 1(Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

The candidate must be able to move, carry and deliver workstations from inside the office to customer's desk.  The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.


The projected compensation range for this position is $75,500.00-$125,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
