) ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking to staff a group home/program manager for two licensed group homes in Hillsborough County. The manager will lead day-to-day operations across the houses. This is a hands-on role with real autonomy. You'll be supported by the administration team with direct supporting roles available to you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SUMMARIZED:
• Review MARs at both homes for completeness
• Attend client appointments and maintain health files
• Communicate with pharmacies and providers
• Submit monthly and quarterly reports
• Prepare for and participate in site visits and annual surveys
• Conduct monthly fire drills, medication cart audits, and parent/guardian update calls
• Maintain and update care plans
• Obtain needed consent forms
• Conduct new admission and new hire welcome meetings
• Participate in hiring interviews; make recommendations to ownership
• Serve as backup staff when needed
• Attend weekly operations meeting with ownership via Zoom calls
REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Special Education, or related field at a minimum
• Minimum 4 years of experience in residential care, IDD services, child welfare, or social services
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
• CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Reliable transportation with your own vehicle but also willing to operate company van when needed
Preferred:
• Prior supervisory experience in a group home, nursing home, SNF, or residential setting or Master's degree in a related field
• Familiarity with Florida regulations for residential care settings
• Experience with iConnect, Binti, or similar platforms
• Bilingual (Spanish or Creole)
SCHEDULE & EXPECTATIONS:

• On-site days are flexible but must include both homes each visit.
• Weekend on-site presence required at least twice per month (Saturday or Sunday).
• On-call availability for after-hours emergencies is required and built into the salary.
• Will serve as last resort backup coverage as needed (training provided).
