As of Jul 1, 2026, the average hourly pay for weekend group homes in the United States is $15.64, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $13.70 and $17.07 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are the requirements to work in a group home?

To work in a group home, applicants typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, background checks, and relevant training such as CPR and first aid. Some positions may require prior experience with caregiving or working with vulnerable populations. Certification requirements vary by state or organization, and good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Working in weekend group homes typically involves providing care and supervision for residents during weekends, which may be paid hourly or per shift. To earn $2000 weekly, you might need to work multiple shifts or find roles with higher pay rates, often requiring relevant certifications or experience. Combining multiple part-time roles or increasing shift hours can help reach this income level from home or a remote setting related to caregiving or support services.

AspectWeekend Group HomesResidential Care Aides
CredentialsHigh school diploma, CPR/First AidHigh school diploma, CPR/First Aid
Work EnvironmentResidential facilities, weekendsAssisted living, daily caregiving

Weekend Group Homes and Residential Care Aides both require similar certifications and work in residential settings. Both roles serve vulnerable populations but differ mainly in scheduling and specific work environments.

What jobs pay $4000 a week without a degree?

Jobs in the healthcare, sales, or skilled trades sectors can sometimes pay $4,000 or more weekly without requiring a college degree, especially for experienced roles like real estate agents, commercial drivers, or certain construction supervisors. These positions often rely on skills, certifications, or commissions rather than formal education and may involve long hours or high responsibility.

What is the 3 month rule for jobs?

The 3 month rule in the context of weekend group home jobs often refers to a probationary period of three months during which an employee's performance and suitability for the role are evaluated. During this time, employees may receive additional training and supervision, and employment status can be reassessed based on performance and compliance with regulations. This period helps ensure that staff are qualified and capable of providing quality care in the group home environment.
