How does a group home get paid?

Full time group homes are typically funded through government programs, Medicaid, or private pay sources. Payments are made on a regular schedule, often monthly, based on the number of residents and the level of care provided, and staff may need to maintain documentation and certifications to ensure proper reimbursement.

What qualifications do I need to work at a group home?

To work at a group home, candidates typically need a high school diploma or equivalent, and some positions may require relevant experience or certifications such as CPR and first aid. Depending on the role, background checks and training in behavioral management or caregiving may also be required.
