We are seeking a dependable and professional Front Desk Receptionist with Medical Assistant training to join our growing family practice and primary care office in Ooltewah, TN. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and clinical support in a fast-paced medical environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent patient care and customer service. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner

Answer multi-line phone system and assist with scheduling appointments

Verify insurance information and collect copays/payments

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Assist providers with clinical duties as needed

Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for examination

Handle prescription refill requests and patient messages

Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Support daily office operations and maintain a clean, organized front office

Qualifications

Medical Assistant training or certification preferred

Previous medical office or front desk experience preferred

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office setting

Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred
