Job description

Join a growing operation where no two days are the same. This position is ideal for someone with a background in construction, project management, carpentry, equipment operation, or property maintenance who enjoys working outdoors and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and assist with construction, renovation, and improvement projects across the farm.
  • Perform carpentry work, fencing installation and repair, building maintenance, and general site improvements.
  • Operate tractors, skid steers, mowers, and other farm equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate and execute projects involving structures, barns, drainage, landscaping, and farm infrastructure.
  • Assist with planting, cultivating, harvesting, and other seasonal farm operations.
  • Maintain farm buildings, grounds, and facilities to a high standard of appearance and functionality.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
  • Identify maintenance needs, recommend solutions, and take initiative to complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records related to livestock, equipment, inventory, projects, and farm operations using Excel, CattleMax, and other farm management software systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to accomplish operational and project goals.
  • Work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in construction, carpentry, project management, property maintenance, farming, heavy equipment operation, or a related field.โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹โ€‹
  • Experience using farm management software, inventory tracking systems, work order platforms, or similar technology. Experience with CattleMax or comparable livestock management software is preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
