Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Mechatronics Engineer to support the modernization of legacy manufacturing equipment by integrating advanced robotics and automation technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial robots, PLCs, motion control, and electromechanical system integration in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upgrade existing production lines by integrating industrial robots, cobots, and automated systems.
  • Design and implement mechanical, electrical, and control system integrations.
  • Program and optimize industrial robots, PLCs, and motion control systems.
  • Configure sensors, actuators, motors, HMIs, and vision systems.
  • Create 3D CAD models and simulate robotic work cells before deployment.
  • Commission, troubleshoot, and optimize automated equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and robotic safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and provide technical support/training.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in industrial robotics and manufacturing automation.
  • Experience with industrial robots such as Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or Universal Robots.
