Job description

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as an advanced Epic Credentialed Trainer with increased responsibility for training quality, curriculum refinement, and operational support. Provides higherlevel in person support, mentors CT I staff, and collaborates more closely with Principal Trainers to improve training materials and workflows. Facilitates departmentbased sessions, supports optimization initiatives, and participates in planning and implementing new enhancements or upgrades. Represents Epic in operational meetings more frequently and provides advanced justintime support via telephone, electronic communication, or in person.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Must have current, active registered nurse license issued by appropriate governing body. Bachelor’s degree in information technology or other work related field is preferred. Experience in Epic application systems and general training in a healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of adult learning principles is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Effective communication, customer service, and organizational skills are essential. A minimum of two years of experience as a Credentialed Trainer I and successful completion of all requirements of the Epic Advancement Program for CT III are required.
