Job description

As an Extrusion Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion equipment to manufacture quality products while maintaining our high standards for safety, efficiency, and productivity. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, mechanical processes, and working in a continuous manufacturing environment.ย 

What You'll Do
  • Set up, start, operate, and shut down extrusion production lines.
  • Load raw materials and maintain proper material flow throughout production.
  • Monitor machine temperatures, line speeds, product dimensions, and overall process performance.
  • Make process and color adjustments to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Perform routine quality inspections and accurately document inspection results.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively during shift handoffs.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Support production on other extrusion lines as needed.
  • Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Work holidays and overtime as needed.
  • Participate in shift handoffs to ensure smooth production transitions.
