Job description

Machine operator - WEEKEND SHIFT

Openings: VMill, VMC, Bender, CNC, End Mill, and Saw Operators

Shift: Fri, Sat, Sun - 6:00AM-6:00PM, $2.00 differental pay


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. 

  • Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment including according to production requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain proper dimensions and tolerances
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a production or fabrication environment is preferred
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Ability to assemble and fabricate components
  • Understanding of tooling and tooling requirements for different machining operations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
  • Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs
