MACHINIST
We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team at the Wausau, WI location. Machinists work in a team environment with Safety and Quality as top priorities. Join our growing team and become part of a great place to work!
Earn $26-33/hr +, based on experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify the number of holes machined on items according to the part drawing
  • Interpret the routing and machine each part according to the part drawing
  • Identify the gauging inspection needed for each feature that is machined
  • Call up proper program for each part on CNC controller

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES:
  • Prior CNC machining experience
  • Understand machining practices and the proper use of measuring devices including tooling and fixturing, machine set-up knowledge, and ability to use gages to check work
  • Must be competent in use of small hand tools and standard measuring instruments including by not limited to micrometers, dial indicators, pin/plug gauges, etc.
  • Required to learn and use computer-based Quality Control and production systems
  • Must be able to read and understand process related documentation.
  • Work in a safe manner observing safety practices
  • Must be team oriented

LIFTING / STANDING / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires continuous walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting/carrying of up to 35 lbs. based on project need.
JOB TYPE: Full-time
SCHEDULE:
Second shift; 10 hours, Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am. Overtime as needed.
Weekend shift; 12 hours, Friday-Sunday 5am-5pm, work 36 - paid 40. Overtime as needed.
