Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Cybersecurity Developer is responsible for designing, building, and automating security capabilities across cloud and on - prem environments by embedding DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines and the broader software development lifecycle. This role partners closely with application, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate security controls, remediate vulnerabilities, define secure coding standards, and develop reusable security components. The position emphasizes automation and AI - driven solutions to reduce the cost, complexity, and operational burden of security and compliance activities, including the implementation of scripted and orchestrated solutions using tools such as Ansible, ServiceNow, and common scripting languages. The role also supports secure cloud architectures and shared - responsibility models, contributes to architecture reviews and threat modeling, maintains technical documentation and runbooks, evaluates emerging security tools and techniques, and participates in an on - call rotation to support security tooling and pipelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops application's design by transforming user requirements into technical design models, test plans and design reports to establish the most effective and efficient application solution.
• Constructs an application by developing program source code, execution control procedures and test data to provide a functioning information system.
• Installs applications by obtaining implementation approvals to perform computerized support of business functions.
• Performs assigned application modification to consistently satisfy business objectives.
• Plans assigned activities and provides input to Project Leader in producing detailed project plans.
• Reports on activities progress by communication activities status to inform Project Leader of actual achievement.
• Utilizes the available programming tools by educating oneself on tools and applying tools on programming activities to produce application deliverables more productively.
• Promotes departmental standards and procedures by complying with published standards and procedures to ensure the quality of our information systems.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related Field.
• IT or relative experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of IT or relative experience required
