Work Location: HQ USARCENT, Shaw AFB, SC

Job Description:

Position Summary

Support authorized updates, content management, sustainment, and minor improvements to existing USARCENT Public Affairs web capabilities. Perform work within approved Government systems and scope limitations; significant new functionality or Army-unique development requires Contracting Officer direction.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Receive, prioritize, document, and complete approved website content, configuration, and sustainment requests.
  • Develop or update pages, templates, components, scripts, workflows, or content within existing platform capabilities.
  • Apply content-owner approval, accessibility, security, quality, and release checks before publication.
  • Maintain change records, version control, completion evidence, and an appropriate rollback path.
  • Troubleshoot defects and coordinate platform, account, network, or hosting issues through authorized channels.
  • Elevate requests that would create significant new functionality, Army-unique modifications, or significant testing/evaluation before proceeding.
Government-Stated Conditions
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance. The Government recommends an active clearance at hire.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card, installation access, and required Government system/network access; performance cannot begin while required access is pending.
  • Must read, write, speak, and understand English and maintain professional conduct and appearance.
  • Must use Government-furnished equipment and authorized systems for performance; unauthorized personal devices or remova
  • Must complete required security, cyber/IA, OPSEC, antiterrorism, iWATCH, and local training. Possible CONUS or OCONUS travel may be designated after award.
  • If the assigned duties are designated as Information Assurance functions, the employee must hold the applicable DoD 8570 baseline certification at performance start and obtain required computing-environment certification within six months. The Government did not provide a position-specific certification mapping
Requirements:
  • Three or more years of web development, web content management, application sustainment, or closely related experience.
  • Knowledge of Section 508/accessibility, secure development, content approval, and change-management practices.
  • Experience supporting DoD, Army, or other federal web environments is preferred.
  • Relevant degree or technical certifications are preferred; candidates should identify current DoD 8570 certifications, if any.
