Certified Pharmacy Tech

Shift = 4 x 10 hour shifts per week

7:00am - 5:30pm weekdays and 7:30am to 5:00pm (every other weekend rotation)

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Certified Pharmacy Technician assists in all pharmacy operations related to:

  • Preparation and distribution of doses of medication
  • Maintenance of medication inventories to include restocking automated dispensing cabinets throughout the hospital 
  • Packaging/repackaging of medications 
  • Maintenance of patient records pertaining to medication therapy
  • Compliances with all state and federal regulations 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program
  • 1+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
