Job description

Ideal position for a current MBU student, or someone looking to pick up some hours!

Creative Dining Services is currently looking for General Food Service Workers to join our dining services team at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, MO. The General Food Service Worker, or Server, performs a wide range of duties involved with preparing and/or serving food and beverages, and will also assist in set-up and service in the cafeteria, as well as clean-up and collection of garbage/trash; as appropriate to the area of operation. May serve food to customers and/or perform cashiering duties, as appropriate.

Availability required: Varies. We serve meals in a college cafeteria setting, 7-days a week. Some weekends may be required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location
  • Prior foodservice experience is a plus, but not required
