Job description

Description

Commercial Service Coordinator - Security, Access, CCTV & Fire Systems
Kansas City, MO | Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Atronic Alarms has protected commercial businesses across the Kansas City area for over 40 years. We're growing, and we need an organized, customer-focused Commercial Service Coordinator to be the hub connecting our clients, technicians, and vendors.

What You'll Do

  • Be the first point of contact for commercial clients - calls, emails, and texts
  • Schedule installations, service calls, and routine system inspections
  • Coordinate with vendors and technicians to keep jobs on track
  • Provide basic technical support (toggling chimes, silencing keypads, pulling system reports)
  • Monitor system health alerts and get ahead of issues before they become problems

A Typical Day

You'll start by reviewing the day's schedule and clearing any conflicts, then move into following up on overnight service tickets, helping clients troubleshoot, and booking new jobs as they come in. Throughout the day you're coordinating with field technicians to make sure the right people and parts are in the right place - closing the loop so nothing falls through the cracks.

What You Bring

Required:

  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills - you keep moving parts organized
  • Clear, professional communication, written and verbal
  • Comfort learning new software/technology on the job

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in a field service, installation, or trades-adjacent industry
  • Experience in service coordination, dispatching, or customer service
  • Familiarity with security, fire, or low-voltage systems

Why Atronic

  • Pay & Stability: Consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule, no nights/weekends
  • Health Coverage: Atronic covers 75% of Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability premiums
  • Retirement: 401(k) with company match
  • Time Off: 8 paid holidays + PTO
  • Growth: We promote from within - this role is a launchpad, not a ceiling
  • Culture: Team lunches, outings, and recognition events for a team that's been around 40+ years and isn't going anywhere

Ready to be the calm, organized center of a busy commercial service team? Apply today.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of coordinating, customer service, or dispatching experience
  • Experience in a service or installation environment is a plus
  • Strong organizers who excel at prioritizing, multitasking, and meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented communicators who learn quickly and stay current with new security technologies
  • Ability to troubleshoot both technical and administrative inquiries
