Who We Want
We’re seeking a reliable and motivated Restoration and Construction Helper who has basic construction knowledge and experience with tools of the trade combined with a desire to learn and grow in the industry. The right candidate is a proactive problem-solver who is able to work independently and with diverse teams, especially in high-pressure environments like emergency response, construction sites, and restoration projects. 
 
Key Responsibilities
This role is crucial to ensuring operational excellence on project sites across New Mexico. You’ll assist with daily tasks, help oversee labor teams, enforce safety standards, and deliver results that meet the company’s commitment to quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
  • Be ready to mobilize immediately to potential loss sites.
  • Help lead temporary labor teams with confidence and clarity.
  • Follow and enforce safety standards and OSHA/EPA regulations.
  • Prepare job sites, tools, and materials daily; maintain site cleanliness and safety.
  • Accurately track labor, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with project managers and communicate challenges in real time.
  • Follow all Mooring Safety policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize internal systems for time tracking and reporting.
Qualifications  
Required:
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with manual and power tools and construction equipment.
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions and during weekends, nights, or holidays.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Comfortable following detailed oral and written instructions.
Preferred: 
  • Experience in restoration, mitigation, and/or construction industries.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and IICRC standards.
  • Willingness to obtain industry certifications (e.g., OSHA 10, WTR, ASD, FSRT, etc.).
