Job description

Job Summary
We are currently recruiting people who share a passion for hockey and will strive to provide world-class plus service to Tampa Bay Lightning and Concert/Event fans at Benchmark International Arena. Be a part of the Team behind the Teams and work in a fun, exciting game day environment with the Retail Team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet fans and provide world-class plus service

  • Assist fans with retail purchases through Point of Sale (POS) systems

  • Assist with stocking retail merchandise on sales floor

  • Assist with replenishing retail merchandise on displays/shelves during and after games

  • Assist with inventory of merchandise

  • May be assigned to work in different functions of retail or event types as needed, including e-commerce, hockey games, concerts, warehouse, etc.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years old with high school diploma or GED required

  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background check screening

  • Experience working in retail or sales preferred, cash handling skills preferred

  • Ability to learn and retain inventory knowledge so that you will be able to assist guests looking for certain products and utilize knowledge to up sell retail products

  • Ability to provide a fun and professional environment for fans

  • Outgoing personality and desire to provide world-class plus service to fans

  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional accuracy when using Point of Sale (POS) systems

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language

  • Ability to work in areas that can become crowded with equipment and/or people

  • Ability to work comfortably around special effects including, but not limited to: haze, strobe lights, lasers, etc.

  • Ability to work in loud environments

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs

  • Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas, including in varying earther conditions and during high-traffic event times

  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Must be able to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures
