POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Retail Warehouse Associate (Part Time - Parma, OH) assists the Rocket Arena Retail Operations Team with day-to-day inventory and warehouse activities, that include but are not limited to, processing shipments, storing/organizing products, distributing/replenishing merchandise, and participation in retail operations special projects. In addition, the Retail Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for working occasional concerts and special events at Rocket Arena by checking in event merchandise, distributing to selling locations, assisting with vendor stand set-up, replenishing additional event merchandise as needed, participating in special projects, and checking back all remaining event merchandise at the end of the concert/event.
** This is a part-time, hourly position, that will primarily work onsite at our Retail Warehouse located in Parma, OH between 10am-5pm. Some evening & weekend shifts at Rocket Arena are also avaliable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receiving and checking-in of retail vendor purchase orders and receipts.
  • Organization of product within the warehouse.
  • Picking and pulling of warehouse merchandise for distribution to retail selling locations.
  • Perform price changes and inventory counts as needed.
  • Maintains daily detailed communications with team leader and assists with coordination and execution of special projects.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area.
  • Assists with support and training of other team members when needed.
  • Participate in special event and concert retail set-ups and teardowns and inventory duties.
  • Press roster name/number kits on jerseys for all sales locations.
  • Must demonstrate a high level of accuracy with receiving, transfers an event merchandise handling.
  • General protection of company assets via adherence to corporate retail inventory policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 1-2 years of retail inventory or operations experience preferred.
  • High school diploma is required.
  • Position requires daytime availability with flexibility to work extended hours and some weekends based on workload of Rocket Arena concerts and events.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Reads, speaks, and comprehends English effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform work requiring extended periods of walking, standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and light load carrying up to 25lbs.
