Job description

Part-Time Church Musician / Organist - St. Rene Goupil Parish
St. Rene Goupil Parish in Sterling Heights is seeking a part-time organist and musician to help lead and inspire our congregation at our spirit-filled liturgies. This is an exciting opportunity to support a vibrant parish community through music!
Weekend Mass Schedule:
  • Saturday: 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, and 5:30 PM
Responsibilities Include:
  • Playing organ/music for weekend Masses
  • Leading and supporting the parish choir
  • Encouraging strong congregational singing
  • Providing music for weddings, funerals and penance services (separate compensation provided)
Compensation:
Wages are negotiable and based on experience.
