Job description

Foss Motor Company in Liberal, KS is looking for an Automotive Sales Associate to join its new car sales team. This role is built around helping customers find the right vehicle for their needs, which means asking good questions, knowing the product inside and out, and following through from the first conversation to the close. If you enjoy working with people and want to grow a sales career at a Ford dealership, this is a strong place to do it.

What You'll Do
  • Greet and assist customers as they enter the dealership, guiding them toward vehicles that fit their needs and budget
  • Ask questions and listen carefully to understand what each customer is actually looking for
  • Explain vehicle performance, features, and available options clearly and confidently
  • Offer test drives to all prospects and follow dealership procedures for obtaining proper identification beforehand
  • Meet monthly vehicle sales goals established by the sales manager
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly performance to identify where time and effort can be better directed

What We're Looking For
  • Prior automotive sales experience preferred; strong candidates from other sales backgrounds will be considered
  • Excellent customer service, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Goal-oriented and able to manage your own time and pipeline effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
