Responsibilities

  • Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service.
  • Adheres to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • Sets up bars for operation; cuts fruit; stocks ice; empties garbage.
  • Supports bartender needs; ices drink glasses and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
  • Wipes counter areas, sinks, and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation.
  • Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
  • Maintains par stock levels and orders bar supplies as necessary; delivers orders.
  • Maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures; reports any maintenance problems to manager.
  • Removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in restaurant and service stations in accordance with departmental procedures; sorts bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling.
  • Resolves service issues according to established guidelines.
  • Assists with setting up for banquets and private functions: stocks beverages and paper products.
  • Provides positive communication and uses Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
  • Performs duties in a safe manner; reports any potential safety hazards to management staff.
  • Performs any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position's job description, where, in the Company's judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Prior Food & Beverage experience helpful, but not required.
  • Familiarity with bar environment preferred.
  • Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
  • Mobility to move easily in outlet and storage areas.
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
