SUMMARY OVERVIEW
ย 

The Aircraft Fueler plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient refueling of aircraft in compliance with aviation regulations and company safety standards. This position is responsible for operating fueling equipment, performing fuel quantity verification, conducting equipment inspections, and maintaining detailed fueling documentation. The Aircraft Fueler works closely with airline personnel and airport operations to ensure aircraft are properly fueled and prepared for on-time departure while maintaining the highest safety standards.ย ย

RESPONSIBILITIES
ย 

  • Safely and efficiently conduct aircraft fueling operations in accordance with company, airline, and regulatory guidelines
  • Operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, stationary carts, and related fueling equipment
  • Connect and disconnect fueling hoses and monitor fuel flow during operations
  • Ensure accurate loading, distribution, and balancing of fuel in accordance with aircraft specifications
  • Conduct defueling procedures as required
  • Perform daily quality control inspections on fueling equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality
  • Maintain accurate records of fueling transactions, fuel quantities, and related documentation
  • Fuel various Ground Service Equipment including Hydrant Trucks, Fuel Trucks, Tanker Trucks, Tugs, and Belt Loaders
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to fuel spills, leaks, or emergency situations in accordance with safety protocols
  • Work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
  • Demonstrate regular, predictable attendance at the assigned work location
  • Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by managementย ย 

QUALIFICATIONS
ย 

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or Medical Examiner's Certificate (MCSA-5876)
  • Active Hazmat (H), Tanker (N), and Air Brake endorsements
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screening and comply with all DOT regulations
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Basic math skills for fuel calculations and documentation
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including iPads/Tablets, computers, and mobile devices
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in person and through electronic means
  • Eligibility to acquire required credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, U.S. Postal Service, as applicable)
  • Ability to work any day/shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays within a 24/7 operation
