Job description

Position Title: Assembly- Bumpers
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Shift:
1st Shift -- 6:00am - 6:00pm (Monday - Friday) - Occasional Weekends
Shift: 3rd Shift -- 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. (Monday - Friday) - Occasional Weekends
Pay Rate:
(1st shift) $15.50/hr
(3rd shift) $15.50/hr + $1.50 shift premium = $17.00/hr
Company Overview: Our client is a leading automotive manufacturing company, dedicated to producing high-quality components. We are actively seeking detail-oriented and motivated individuals to join our team as Assembly Technicians for bumper assembly at our Sterling Heights, MI facility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assembly operations on automotive bumpers following established guidelines and specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently and accurately. Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all assembled components meet the company's stringent quality standards. Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets and address any issues that may arise during the assembly process. Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in assembly, preferably in an automotive manufacturing environment. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Attention to detail and the ability to follow assembly instructions and specifications. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexibility to work occasional weekends based on production needs.
