They work closely with couples and vendors to document key moments and behind-the-scenes details, often providing content that can be shared online soon after the event. Additionally, collaborating closely with other wedding professionals ensures smooth coordination on the big day and helps you capture the best moments.

Job description

We're looking for someone fun and creative to come capture the behind the scenes of what we do.

This isn't wedding photography or videography. Our couples have pros for that.

You'd be filming us, the messy, pretty, chaotic middle part. Setup and install, tables coming together, vendors rolling in, the final walk through before doors open. All the stuff our audience never gets to see. The main job is just shooting. Film it on your phone, send us the footage, and we handle the editing and posting from there. If editing is your thing, we're happy to add that on for extra pay, but it's totally optional.

A few things

  • You live in Columbus or within 15 miles
  • You're free evenings and weekends, that's when weddings happen
  • You have a good eye and know what makes a great shot
  • You can move around a busy room and grab the moment without getting in the way (key!)
  • Editing skills are a plus, not a requirement
  • Weddings, events, or lifestyle brands are your thing (bonus, not required)

The details

It's a contract role, paid per event. We bring on one creator per wedding, so we're hiring a few people. On site for the event, and editing after only if you want it. We provide all the equipment. Starting ASAP.

How to apply

  1. Send an email with your resume, e-mail to hello@vowedweddings.com. Share an Instagram or TikTok account you personally run (a personal account totally counts, we just want to see how you shoot) and what you're looking for compensation wise.
