Board-Certified Interventional Radiology Physician
Location Brooklyn, NY 11209
Position Type Full-Time | Onsite
Schedule Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On-Call Coverage Required: Weekdays: 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM: Weekends: Friday 4:30 PM – Monday 8:00 AM
Job Responsibilities
•    The Interventional Radiology Physician will provide comprehensive interventional radiology services, including but not limited to:
•    Interventional Procedures
•    Provide timely on-site clinic coverage and arrive at scheduled clinic start times
•    Offer consultation and clinical guidance to referring providers regarding appropriate indications and treatment plans
•    Review consults, orders, and next-day cases for a minimum of two (2) hours daily
•    Communicate treatment decisions directly with referring clinicians (in person or by phone)
•    Perform post-procedure evaluations, follow-ups, and manage procedure-related complications
•    Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with the next level of care
•    Administrative Responsibilities
•    Approximately 5% of time allocated to non-direct patient care activities
•    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and committee meetings
•    Attend required staff meetings
•    Conduct ongoing peer reviews (approximately 1 hour per week; ~50 hours annually)
•    Prepare for and participate in specialized meetings and related follow-up activities
•    On-Call & Coverage Requirements
•    On-call physicians must be available for phone consultation within 15 minutes
•    Must be available on-site within 60 minutes when called back
Licensure
•    Active, current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
•    Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
•    Current and valid DEA registration required
