Job Description:

Boeing 757 Pilot performing as a member of select team of professional flight crews and maintenance personnel, ensuring operations, training, and safety management goals are met. Adheres to all scheduling, coordinating, training, certification, and qualification requirements. Complies with crew flight and duty time limitations and standard operating procedures. Works in close coordination with the customer to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support outstanding customer service. Position will require short notice travel and on-call responsibilities. Employment is conditional on maintaining a DoD Top Secret security clearance, successful completion of 757 type rating, and eventually a G5 type rating.

**Position requires being domiciled (within 1 hour response time) to Richmond International Airport in order to meet time sensitive schedule requirements and on-call responsibilities.


Essential Functions:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Familiarity or experience with FAA FAR Part 91/121/125/135 preferred.
  • Ability to successfully complete 757 type rating, and G550 type rating (if required).
  • Must be highly skilled, with a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with daily interface with customers at numerous levels.
  • Applicant must possess outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to read, speak and write English language.
  • Ability to lift and/or move 50 - 75 pounds above the head.
  • Willingness and ability to work shifts as assigned 7 days a week, 12 hours a day to support company objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 3,000 total flight hours.
  • Minimum 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) flight hours.
  • Minimum 1,500 multi-engine turbine hours.
  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, with experience in aircraft with MTGW of 74K lbs or greater.
  • Class II FAA Flight Physical (First Class if age 65 or older).
  • Abilty to obtain an airport clearance/security badge (FAA).
  • Must be a US citizen.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret security clearance is highly preferred.
  • Current experience 500 757/767 flight hours.
  • RVSM trained.
  • International experience.


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $108,000 - $243,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
