About the role
  • The Second-in-Command (SIC) supports the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the safe and efficient operation of Learjet aircraft for company flights.
  • This role ensures adherence to all FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices while providing exceptional service to passengers.
  • The SIC is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, situational awareness, and teamwork at all times.

Who We Are Looking For
  • Assist the PIC with all phases of flight planning and execution.
  • Operate the aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, aircraft limitations, and company procedures.
  • Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties, including inspections, checklist completion, and documentation.
  • Monitor aircraft systems, weather, air traffic, and surroundings to support safe decision making.
  • Maintain strong communication with PIC, crew members, dispatch, and ground personnel. the specific responsibilities and job functions of the role

Safety & Compliance
  • Strictly adhere to FAA Part 135 regulations.
  • Assist with maintaining aircraft readiness, including identifying and reporting maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety management systems (SMS).
  • Participate in required recurrent training, proficiency checks, and safety briefings.

Customer Service
  • Provide professional, courteous service to passengers and clients.

You Must Have
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Airplane MultiEngine Land (AMEL).
  • FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum Total Flight Time: 500-1000
  • Total Time: 1100
  • Instrument Rating and demonstrated IFR proficiency.
  • Ability to pass background, drug testing, and PRIA checks.
  • Valid passport; ability to travel internationally as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Learjet type rating (e.g., LR60, LR45, LR35/36).
  • Previous Part 91 or 135 flight experience.
  • ATP Certificate or ATPCTP completion.
  • Strong CRM, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in business or charter aviation.
