Title: Website Product Owner
Location: Seattle, WA
Company: Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing (FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years)
Initial term: 3 months 
Schedule: Mon thru Fri , 40 hrs weekly, starting between 8AM and 9AM, WFH Monday & Friday

About This Role: 

Drive digital growth by leading high-impact website initiatives, AI and SEO optimization, cross-functional partnerships, and data-driven marketing strategies that shape how millions of consumers discover and engage with the brand.

What You'll Do:

1. Digital Product Ownership & Website Program Management

Responsible for translating business needs into a prioritized roadmap and managing execution across agencies and internal teams. This includes site enhancements, migrations, campaign builds, backlog prioritization, and governance

  • Experience owning a website roadmap and backlog
  • Ability to write requirements and prioritize features
  • Experience working with development agencies
  • Understanding of UX, CMS, and digital platforms

2. Technical Digital Marketing & AI/SEO Expertise   

The role is evolving beyond traditional website management into AI discoverability, LLM optimization, SEO governance, and content architecture. The individual will need to understand how brands become visible within AI-powered search and recommendation environments

  • Strong SEO fundamentals
  • Knowledge of structured data/schema
  • Understanding of AI Readiness, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and LLM discoverability

3. UAT & Website Operations Management

A portion of the role sits between business and technology teams, ensuring development work meets requirements before launch. The role owns review cycles, troubleshooting, staging validation, defect management, and go-live governance.

  • Experience leading UAT
  • Ability to review staging environments
  • Familiarity with bug triage and ticket management
  • Understanding of website release processes
  • Ability to coordinate across developers, content teams, and stakeholders

4. Executive Stakeholder & Agency Management

The role sits at the center of a highly complex stakeholder ecosystem, collaborating across:

  • Global enterprise leadership, brand teams, creative and media agencies, analytics teams, digital transformation partners, search specialists, and external vendors

5. Analytics & Business Insight Generation

The role must not only receive reports but interpret them and turn them into business actions. The work consistently involves reviewing site performance, SEO performance, conversion opportunities, engagement metrics, and optimization recommendations.

  • Google Analytics / GA4 proficiency
  • Dashboard interpretation

  • Ability to connect data to recommendations
