Operations Supervisor – Firestop

Location: Seattle, WA | Field-Based | Travel Required

Summary

The Firestop Operations Supervisor provides hands‑on leadership and day‑to‑day oversight for Firestop Inspectors and Technicians in the field. This role is responsible for developing strong, high‑performing teams through training, coaching, and accountability while ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Operations Supervisor partners closely with the Operations Manager, Sales, and cross‑functional teams to maintain quality standards, enforce safety requirements, and ensure consistent code‑compliant execution across all projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • Supervising crews in firestop, drywall, and caulking
  • Strong working knowledge of NFPA/IBC/UL requirements
  • Proven experience leading crews on commercial construction job sites; specifically healthcare facilities
  • Ability to read and interpret Life Safety Drawings
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet daily deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn internal software systems quickly
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact with clients and leadership

Physical Requirements

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching and ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to use hand tools and inspection equipment
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required

Additional Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver license (Real ID)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (This will vary depending on market)
