We have an immediate opening for a Website Product Manager in our Overland Park or Detroit offices. The Website Product Manager fulfills the primary role of managing the definition and delivery, ongoing support, and continuous improvement of website Marketing Technology products for our clients. This role is responsible for planning, coordination, execution and delivery of Marketing Technology product development projects, as well as managing ongoing support accounts and the continuous development process.
 
You will be considered for this position if you meet the following criteria:
  1. You have worked with WordPress and/or Drupal website content management systems (CMS) 
  2. You have experience in a highly technical role with website projects and products
  3. You have an interest in using AI to create efficiencies in managing website development projects and enhancing digital products
  4. You are a highly motivated, self-starting individual
In this role, the Product Manager will work directly with supporting associates including Account Management, Marketing Technology Strategists, Developers, User Experience Designers, Interactive Art Directors, SEO Specialists, Quality Assurance Associates, Content Entry Specialists, other internal teams, contracted resources and external partners pertinent to process, product and project delivery. This includes website design and development projects, ongoing website support and improvement, and product management of other Marketing Technology products. 
Duties and responsibilities 
  • Management of projects from kick-off to launch
  • Level of effort and budget estimating
  • Developing scopes and statements of work
  • Defining and managing product requirements
  • Developing product delivery and management roadmaps
  • Coordinating development tasks and deliverables
  • Lead internal and external technical project team
  • Manage delivery of client projects on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of clients
  • Manage ongoing support of websites/products and continuous development process
  • Develop documentation to clearly outline, track and forecast projects and resource allocation
  • Contribute to quality assurance (QA) testing and website content entry as needed
  • Report on client website goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Google Lighthouse, accessibility audits, and other third-party monitoring dashboard tools
  • Delegate and empower associates to accomplish projects and elevate their contributions
  • Oversee freelancer, contractor and outside partnerships pertinent to client project processes, workflows, documentation, best practices and deliverables
  • Create positive interdepartmental collaborations across all agency teams
  • Assist in developing, implementing and optimizing product and project management practices
  • Mentor associates within and outside of Marketing Technology department to better understand our technology offerings, capabilities, processes and delivery framework
 
Qualifications 
  • 2-3 years of Marketing Technology project and/or product management experience
  • Experience with Drupal and WordPress content management systems
  • Certification in project management and/or product management a plus
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence platforms a plus
  • Software and application development a plus
  • Experience working in a professional services or marketing agency a plus
