What does a website content manager do?

A Website Content Manager is responsible for creating, editing, and managing the content published on a company's website. They ensure that all web content is accurate, up-to-date, visually appealing, and aligns with the company's brand and business goals. Their duties often include collaborating with writers, designers, and marketing teams, as well as analyzing website performance and implementing SEO best practices. • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in alignment with SEO goals and monetization strategies.
  • Prioritize and manage the implementation of all SEO related tasks in conjunction with project managers and developers.
  • Keep pace with SEO, AI discovery, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS.
  • Autonomous, self-motivated, and proactive problem-solver with a strong passion for SEO.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a data-driven, results-oriented mindset.

Nice to Haves:

  • Direct experience optimizing AI visibility and leveraging AI/LLM tools to scale and automate SEO workflows.
  • Proven track record working on large-scale or international websites.
  • Experience with Looker.
