Job description

Company:
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.
Job Area:
Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group, Sales, Business Development & Marketing Group > Marketing Communications
General Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Web Strategist to serve as the single point of contact and strategic leader for two of Qualcomm's most technically sophisticated brand areas: the Qualcomm brand, covering modems and AI as well as Qualcomm's emerging Data Center platform. This role is critical in shaping content strategy, driving user engagement, and optimizing the web experience for deeply technical audiences including chip designers, cloud infrastructure teams, enterprise IT decision-makers, and AI researchers.
The Web Strategist for Qualcomm & Data Center will be responsible for all web strategy and content across both the Qualcomm brand's modem and AI portfolio and the Data Center Data Center platform, ensuring that Qualcomm's web presence remains relevant, compelling, and tightly aligned with business objectives across these high-growth segments. This strategic role requires close collaboration with product marketing, integrated marketing, the web UX team, and the web publishing team to deliver exceptional, cohesive web experiences that drive measurable business results across both brand areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Management
  • Own and execute a comprehensive web content strategy spanning the Qualcomm brand's modem and AI portfolio and the Data Center Data Center platform

  • Ensure all web content remains current, relevant, and aligned with business goals and customer needs across modem, AI, and data center segments

  • Collaborate with the web publishing team to maintain content quality and consistency across all web touchpoints for both brand areas

  • Develop and maintain content governance standards and best practices that scale across highly technical product categories and diverse audiences

Product Launch Leadership
  • Partner with product marketing and product management teams to plan and execute web strategies for new modem, AI, and Data Center Data Center product launches

  • Create compelling web narratives that effectively communicate each product's value proposition to relevant audiences - whether semiconductor engineers, cloud architects, enterprise IT buyers, or AI researchers

  • Ensure seamless integration of new product content into the existing Qualcomm and Data Center web ecosystems

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver launch content on time and on strategy

Campaign & Landing Page Excellence
  • Lead the development and optimization of campaign landing pages in partnership with integrated marketers, product marketers, and the UX team across modem, AI, and Data Center product lines

  • Drive conversion optimization through strategic content placement, messaging, and design collaboration

  • Ensure campaign landing pages align with Qualcomm and Data Center brand standards while meeting specific campaign objectives

  • Manage the full lifecycle of campaign pages from conception through performance analysis

Analytics & Performance Optimization
  • Utilize web analytics to measure and report on content performance across the Qualcomm and Data Center web presence

  • Identify high-performing content patterns and replicate success across both brand areas

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for each segment and regularly report on progress toward goals

  • Use data-driven insights to inform content strategy and prioritize tactical decisions

A/B Testing & Experimentation
  • Design A/B testing programs to optimize page performance across the Qualcomm and Data Center portfolio and work with UX and A/B testing teams to launch

  • Analyze test results and make data-backed recommendations for improvements

  • Develop testing roadmaps that prioritize high-impact optimization opportunities across modem, AI, and data center segments

  • Champion a culture of continuous testing and learning within the web team

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all web-related initiatives within the Qualcomm modem/AI and Data Center business units

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with product marketing, campaign teams, UX designers, and web publishers across both brand areas

  • Facilitate communication and alignment across teams to ensure cohesive, on-brand web experiences

  • Advocate for user needs while balancing the business objectives of each product segment

Strategic Planning
  • Develop and maintain a unified strategic roadmap for the Qualcomm and Data Center web presence that addresses the unique needs of modem, AI, and data center audiences

  • Stay informed about industry trends across wireless connectivity, on-device AI, and data center infrastructure, as well as competitor activities and emerging web best practices

  • Recommend innovative approaches to enhance the web experience and differentiate Qualcomm's modem/AI and Data Center platforms

  • Present strategic recommendations and performance updates to stakeholders and leadership

Key Competencies:
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop long-term, cross-portfolio strategies while executing tactical initiatives across multiple technically complex product lines

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfort with analytics and using data to guide decisions across diverse and highly specialized audience segments

  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse, geographically distributed teams

  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a technically demanding portfolio scope

  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and quality across all deliverables, including technically precise content nuances for modem, AI, and data center audiences

  • Customer Focus: Deep understanding of user needs and customer journeys across semiconductor, cloud infrastructure, enterprise IT, and AI research audiences

  • Innovation: Brings creative solutions to complex, multi-stakeholder challenges

  • Accountability: Takes ownership of outcomes and drives results across all assigned segments
