Role Description The Web Design Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Riverside, CA. This position is responsible for designing and maintaining visually engaging, user-friendly websites that reflect KSI Freight’s brand and service reliability. Day-to-day tasks include creating page layouts and graphics, building and updating front-end components, ensuring responsive behavior across devices, and optimizing user interface elements for clarity and ease of use. The Web Design Specialist will collaborate with marketing and operations teams to translate business needs into effective web experiences, implement content updates, and ensure site performance and accessibility standards are met. The role also involves testing and refining designs based on user feedback and analytics.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Web Design and Responsive Web Design to create modern, mobile-friendly layouts.
• Candidates should possess Front-End Development skills, such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, to implement and maintain site functionality.
• Candidates should possess Graphic Design skills to produce visual assets, icons, and imagery aligned with brand guidelines.
• Candidates should possess User Interface Design skills to optimize navigation, page structure, and interactive elements for clear and efficient user experiences.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with SEO best practices, experience with content management systems, and knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in an on-site environment.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
